Shipping/Download Policy
Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Physical Items (Merch & Books)
Physical orders are typically processed within 24 hours, but since we are a small operation it may take up to 2-3 days.
Most of our physical products (including books) are printed and shipped directly from printers and fulfillment partners. These will be shipped using a variety of shipping services. We have no control over these methods, but tracking should be provided to you indicating which service is used.
Shipping prices will be on a per product basis, and based on your location. This amount will be calculated at checkout.
For signed copies, these will be shipped from Canada at rates based on Canada Post postage rates.
If we, or our fulfilment partners, are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional time in transit for delivery.
Please remember that all of our items (including books) are printed on demand. Depending on printer volumes there may be a delay of days or weeks until printing occurs. Certain products are only available for print in certain locations (ex. All hardcover books are printed in the UK).
Digital Item Delivery
Digital orders are processed immediately.
Digital items, including ebooks and audiobooks are delivered via BookFunnel. You should receive your items in an email from them. If you have any problems with accessing the files sent please please click the help link at the top of the download page linked in the email. The friendly folks at BookFunnel will help you get your book.
If you did not receive an email, please email herman@hermansteuernagel.com and he’ll help you out.
International/EU Customers — Customs, Duties & VAT
Orders shipped Internationally, including the EU, may be subject to import VAT and customs duties upon arrival. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are your responsibility as the recipient. We recommend checking with your local customs office for estimated costs before ordering.
Please note that delivery timeframes may be extended due to customs processing. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
Damages
We are not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
